Carbon Society is a London-based project developer dedicated to advancing sustainable development through nature-based projects in developing countries.

UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (UN SDGs)

Our project initiatives are structured to achieve quantifiable impacts, directly aligned with up to 15 UN SDGs. We maintain accountability and ensure meaningful progress through meticulous assessments, proactive monitoring, and rigorous internal and external audits. Alongside this commitment to rigorous evaluation, we leverage specialised expertise to deliver tailored support to farmers and the wider community.

This comprehensive approach ensures farmers are supported throughout the entire process, while investors receive transparent, data-driven evidence of their desired impact through both quantitative and qualitative metrics.

UN SDG 13 CARBON SEQUESTRATION

Our projects contribute to carbon sequestration by expanding tree cover and density on farmers’ lands. Investors can directly support both climate change mitigation and rural livelihoods by acquiring carbon credits produced through this sequestration.

This purchase, which can only be done once the carbon sequestration is externally validated and verified, not only aids investors in meeting their net-zero targets but also responds to the ongoing need for climate finance in developing countries, enabling the implementation of crucial mitigation measures in rural areas.
